Octoberfest: Episode 1 - OCTOBER 13, 2001

The first half of the Octoberfest Classic Weekend, Qualifying Day.  The Ontario Challenge Cup Late Models, Challengers,
All Pro Modifieds, Thunder Cars, and Street Stocks all ran to qualify for their respective features to be held on the 20th.
The Legends, Dwarf Cars, F-4 Modifieds, and Go Four Mini Stocks also qualified for their features which were run at the end
of the night's program.
 

Starting with ALL PRO MODIFIED ACTION

All Pro Action, The First Field To Show In 2001, And Not A Shabby Show.
#99 Scott Watkins, and #29 Larry "Action" Jackson won the two heat qualifer races.

CHALLENGER ACTION

The Challengers Returned to Flamboro, And Some Familiar Faces Raced Tough But Were Kept Out Of Victory Lane.
Seen Above #18 Dave Labine, and #07 Simon Wild.  Heat Winners Were #1 Vic Parsons, #16 Lance Sullivan,
#57 Kyle Donaldson, #96 Steve Shaw.

Ontario Challenge Cup LATE MODEL ACTION

Late Models Lined Up, But Not For Long.  They Raced All Over The Track.  #7 Petey Shepherd Got Near The Top, But
#82 "The King Of Speed" Jason Shaw Was Just Too Fast.  #39 Harry Topp Didn't Get Our Notice, And Lost Another Wheel.
The Late Model Heat Winners:  #48 Gerry Wheaton, #57 Rob Maas, #70 Rob Howard,
#6 Todd Nagel, #7T Les Szalowski, and #82 Jake Shaw.
