The End Of An Exciting Season, The Last Scrap, The Final
Showdown. The Go-Four Mini Stock Feature Event At Octoberfest.
Go-FOUR ACTION
A Full Field Of Go-Four Mini Stocks Took To The 1/3
Mile Asphalt Oval For The Final Confrontation Between
Flamboro Favourites And Visiting Villains.
The Flamboro Cars Faired Well, But Our Points Champion Robert Allerellie
Would Not Grace Victory Lane On This Weekend.
Above, Heat Winner #5 Clark Hartman.
Other Heat Winners: #19 Dennis Cremasco, #66
Tony Darmon and #77 Bryn Rennie. Rennie Was The Only Flamboro Regular
To Raise The Checkers At Octoberfest. Cremasco Went On To Win The
Feature Event. That's The Second Time A #19 Has Finished The Octoberfest
Weekend In Victory Lane, The Previous Time Being In 1999 At The Inaugural
Mini Stock Invitational.
BUT, It Was Not Dennis Cremasco Who Drove To The
Win In 1999 (contrary to what you might have read by Josh Paxton).
Steve Friend Was The Winning Driver Of The Inaugural
Event, But Josh Was Half Right, It Was Dennis Cremasco Who Had Built And
Sold The Car To Steve Friend, Who Kept Cremasco's #19 For The Race, So
Dennis Did Have Some Connection To The Car.
(Thanks for the quick-cover Dennis. I'll Be
Sure To Write Something Nice About You In 2002. -- JP)
